He was originally going to have a cardboard box over his head (thus the box picture in January), but it looked weird and awkward, so I went with the burlap sack. VERY glad that I did.
Marrow, you never fail to impress with your Art. Seriously, I'm running out of adjectives to describe your work. Does this have any connection to your '12 haunt?
Great Haunting Job! Your photo composition is reminicent of Pumpkinrot! Kudos Keep up the excellent Halloween Haunt Yours Screaming Scarecrow of www.screamingscarecrow.com
Would you happen to have a tutorial of how to make this? I work and help set up a haunted house and would love to know what all is involved in making this super creepy scarecrow.
Your work is being spread on facebook as a horror story in texas on facebook. Just figured i'd let you know. https://www.facebook.com/paranormaltx/photos/a.1005050489580439.1073741828.1001786603240161/1387480278004123/?type=3
It was this scarecrow that motivated me to try making my own Halloween props this year! I can't believe I finally found the source! I was guessing how to make it and initially thought paper mache and cheesecloth, but then I wasn't sure how that would hold up in inclement weather and wasn't sure hot to properly fit and tatter it, so I decided to try plastic wrap even though that's obviously not what you used. Aside from your materials, what I'm really dying to know is how you got that aged, weathered color!
That is an amazing scarecrow.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing. Great work!!
ReplyDeleteThat's fantastic. It's sort of how I wished my scarecrow looked. Your anatomy looks great, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
